Each product is lovingly handcrafted in our private studio, a labor intensive process carried out by our small team of passionate skincare artisans. We value all the work we do to be able to offer you these unique skincare products.


We Take Responsibility For Our Impact On The Environment.

As an online skincare company, returns create a negative impact on the environment in the form of CO2 emissions (return mail) and waste. Because we cannot resell returned items, they must be discarded, which contributes to the planet’s ever-growing trash crisis. To be better stewards of this earth, we made the environmentally friendly decision to offer a sample program instead of the traditional retail return policy.


We Offer a Sample Program and Personalized Guidance.

We encourage you to take advantage of our generous Sample Kits, which we ship free of charge (within the United States). The cost of the kit is then refunded back to you in the form of a store credit. I received a damaged, defective or incorrect item. What do I do?

If you’ve received an order containing a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact our support team as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the issue — we’ll make it right.

I purchased Root Science products through another retailer?

We kindly ask that all inquiries regarding Root Science products purchased through a third party retailer be handled directly through that specific retailer.
